The station is a dual-platform station, meaning that both north and southbound tracks run through the middle, with platforms either side. It is located on the corner of Napper Road and Smith street. This station has a park ‘n’ ride facility with 1000 car spaces, which has a pedestrian overpass to allow safe crossing of Smith Street to the station and a Kiss ‘n’ ride set down area. The station also has facilities for taxi’s, motorcycles and accessible parking spaces.
Pedestrians can access the station via the overpass from Parkwood Park ‘n’ Ride or via a footpath link from Greenacre Drive.
Parkwood Station entrance includes an inclined ramp, non-slip surface and tactile surface dots to ensure easy accessibility for everyone.
