The station is a central platform station, meaning that both north and southbound platforms are located in the middle, with tracks on either side.
Helensvale Station is the main link between the light and heavy rail. An overpass connects the light rail platform to the heavy rail station providing 100 per cent cover for passengers connecting to other services. The station has a dedicated car park with 400 spaces and a kiss ‘n’ ride facility. A taxi bay, motorcycle facilities and accessible car spaces are also available at this station.
A lift will provide access to the overpass bridge.
